Maryland Climate Tech+ 2026 is a convening and action platform advancing climate-resilient, healthy, smart, high-performance housing at the intersection of public health, climate justice, and the built environment.
Climate change is already producing disproportionate impacts on historically marginalized communities.
Along Maryland’s coastline, sea-level rise threatens historically Black neighborhoods, cultural landmarks, and entire communities shaped by generations of resilience—many of which face systemic barriers to climate adaptation, healthcare access, and capital investment.
The built environment plays a central role in this inequity.
Buildings are responsible for approximately 48% of global greenhouse gas emissions and routinely underperform—wasting energy and water while exposing occupants to unhealthy indoor environmental conditions. Given that people spend approximately 90% of their time indoors, building performance is directly linked to respiratory illness, cardiovascular disease, and overall community health outcomes.
Maryland Climate Tech+ 2026 serves as an annual convening and primary fundraising mechanism, directly supporting the Healthy Home Rescue – Baltimore Healthy Homes Community Impact Program, powered by Concairge.com.
Your charitable donations enable comprehensive, real-time indoor air quality assessments and targeted interventions for 100 Baltimore City homes annually, prioritizing prevention, health equity, and community resilience.
Since 2024, Climate Tech+ has convened more than 80 international subject matter experts and delivered over 75 hours of recorded case studies and applied solutions across commercial, single-family, and multifamily sectors.
This initiative emphasizes implementation—translating climate and health data into scalable, validated interventions aligned with emerging regulatory frameworks, including the Maryland Climate Solutions Now Act.
By bridging education, collaboration, and direct community deployment, Maryland Climate Tech+ 2026 ensures that climate action improves indoor environmental quality, reduces health risks, and delivers measurable benefits to the communities most impacted by climate change.
